This is a beautiful example of the high quality work of Fred Bacon and David Day back in the golden era of tenor banjo playing. It features 24 brackets, genuine skin head, decorative neck inlays, decorative headstock logo, armrest, pick-holder, adjustable tailpiece arms and functioning mute lever. It is in very good playing condition with a straight neck, comfortable action and the metal parts still shining. There are the expected minor marks on the wooden resonator from use and age but it remains very attractive. Comes with an older brown hard case (probably original) in average condition with a rope handle. Best of all, it sounds great.
