This is a slightly and only lightly used 5-string tripod electric bass form NS Design.  Our research shows this to be from the CR series and is likely the CR5. It has a lovely flamed maple top finish the body and neck re made of solid Maple.  These fantastic basses designed by the famous Ned Steinberger provide both great playablility and great tone with astounding versatility.  This bass features an adjustable bridge and an active/passive" NS Polar" pickup system powered by two 9V batteries.  The four side knobs adjust the Volume, Balance - counterclockwise for optimal pizzicato (plucked, sustained) sound, clockwise for optimal arco (bowed and percussive plucked) - Bass boost and cut and Treble boost and cut.
