Picked a few days before Christmas, the 2021 Frühlingsplätzchen Eiswein offers a concentrated, honeyed, lemon-fresh, saline and crystalline nose with a precise and dense stewed apricot and ginger aroma. Full-bodied, sweet, rich and very intense on the palate, this is a mouth-filling, savory and enormously rich and stimulating Eiswein of great class and style. The 2021 is still very young, but it is saline and stimulating and will perform brilliantly in 10-15 years. Natural cork. 6.5% stated alcohol. Tasted at the domaine in August 2022.
